Monthly Focus - Preschool - March 2022

Dear Parents and Carers,

  • On the 3rd March Thursday it is World Book Day and we would like the children to dress up as their favourite book character.

  • On 27th March it is Mother's Day and we will be making a special surprise.

  • March is also the start of spring season , so we will start seeding our flowers and decorating our ceramic pots.

  • We are going to start learning the difference between lowercase letters and capitals and how to write them.

Healthy Eating:

Bright Futures Nursery aims to provide a varied, well-balanced, nutritious diet that reflects a variety of different cultures, dietary requirements and food allergies for all children.

  • The food is cooked fresh on the day by our experienced cook.

  • We have four weekly menus that we rotate. We serve breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and tea. Water is available throughout the day.

Polite Notice:

The Nursery works according to a set of safeguarding policies in order to provide the best service possible to children and parents/carers alike.

It is vital that parents/carers work alongside with the Nursery's members of staff and management team to achieve our full potential.

Thus, complying with the right times for each session is crucial to maintain the ratio in the rooms, as well as the best operation of the nursery.

That way, please drop your children and pick them up at the right times. Nursery sessions run as follows:

Morning Session: 8:00am - 1:00pm

Afternoon Session: 1:00pm - 6:00pm

Fee Policy:

  • Nursery Fees are due on the first of every month in advance. For the After School club, the fees are due weekly or monthly in advance.

  • Nursery Fees are still payable for absences and nursery closures.

  • Please use your child's name as the payment reference so we can allocate your payment.

Request to Parents - Safeguarding Premises:

A reminder for all the parents who keep forgetting to close the door/gate behind themselves. It is very important to get use to this practice as it is a matter of safeguarding of the children in the nursery.
