Welcome Message and Important Dates

As we begin a new and exciting year, we would like to wish you all a prosperous 2026 and extend a very warm welcome to our new families who have joined Bright Futures Nursery. Thank you for placing your trust in us to care for your little ones and support their learning and development. We are committed to providing a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

We truly value your partnership, as it plays a vital role in helping us achieve the best outcomes for your children.

As the weather remains cold and unpredictable, please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for outdoor play, which is an essential part of our daily routine, offering children the opportunity to explore, build their gross motor skills, and learn through real-world experiences.

Please see below some important dates for your diaries:

2nd January 2026 - Inset Day(1) - Nursery closed to all Children.
5th January 2026 - All year round and term time children back.
16th to 20th February 2026 - Half time(contracted term time, paid and government funded children off).
23rd February 2026 - Term Time children resume on their usually days and time.
27th March 2026 - last day for all term children.
30th March to 10th April 2026 - Easter Break (contracted term time, paid, government funded children off).
13th April 2026 - Inset Day(2)- Nursery closed to all children.
14th April 2026 - Term Time children resume on their usually days and time.
25th May to 29th May 2026 - Half Term(contracted term time, paid and government funded children off).
1st June 2026 - Term Time children resume on their usual days and time.
1st July 2026- Sports Day -Details nearer to the time.
10th July 2026 - Graduation Day(Preschool Nursery Leavers)-Details nearer to the time.
20th July 2026 - Last Day for Term Time Children(contracted term time, paid and government funded children).
28th August 2026 - Last Day for All-Year Round Funded Children.
2nd September 2026 - Term Time children resume on their usually day and time.
26th to 30th October 2026 - Autumn Half Term(contracted term time, paid and government funded children off).
2nd November 2026 - Term Time children resume on their usually day and at their usual time.
14th December 2026 - Inset Day(3) - Nursery closed to all children.
15th December 2026 - Last Day for Term Time funded Children.
18th December 2026 - Last Day for Term Time Children.
23rd December 2026 - Last Day for All-Year Round Children.
