Dear Parents and Carers,
Story of the month: "I Can Count Cuddles"
We will welcome new children by helping them settle in and introducing them to the room routine.
We will learn numbers by counting using the story of the month and recognising numbers from 1 to 3. Additionally, we will explore simple shapes such as circles, squares and triangles.
To extend our vocabulary, we will repeat words and phrases from our story of the month.
We will create Valentine's cards for our mums, dads and carers. This activity will involve messy play, including painting and mixing colours while making playdough, which will enhance our imagination.
Request to Parents - Safeguarding Premises:
A reminder for all the parents who keep forgetting to close the door/gate behind themselves. It is very important to get use to this practice as it is a matter of safeguarding of the children in the nursery.
