Dear Parents and Guardians,

End of Year Celebrations and Important Dates

As we approach the end of the year, we are pleased to share some exciting news and upcoming events with you.

Firstly, we would like to extend a very warm welcome to all our new nursery starters and to thank their families for placing their trust in Bright Futures Nursery. It is always a joy to see our nursery community grow, and we look forward to supporting your children throughout their learning journey with us.

This season also marks the time of Harvest. To celebrate and give back to their wider community, our Harold Hill branch will be collecting cereal boxes and tinned food for charity during Harvest Week, from 28th September to 2nd October 2026. Families are kindly encouraged to send their children to nursery with unopened and in-date cereal or tinned food items on any day during this week. Your thoughtful contributions will make a real difference, and we thank you in advance for your generosity.

We are also delighted to invite you to our next 'Meet & Greet' Morning, which will take place at the nursery on 3rd December 2026, from 8:30am to 10:00am.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet and connect with other parents and carers within our nursery community, view your child's learning journal and have an informal catch-up with their room staff. We hope you will be able to join us.

28th September 2026 to 2nd October 2026 - Harvest Week.

26th October to 30th October 2026 - Autumn Half term.
Contracted term-time paid and government-funded children will be off during this week.
2nd November 2026- Term-Time Children Resume
Term-Time children resume on their usually days and times.
3rd December 2026- Meet & Greet Morning.
8:30am to 10:00 am at the nursery.
9th December 2026 - Children's Christmas Meal
More details will be shared nearer the time.
11th December 2026 - Children's Christmas Party
More details will be shared nearer the time.
14th December 2026 - Inset Day(3)
Nursery closed to all children.
15th December 2026 - Memories Day & Last Day for Term-Time Funded Children.
18th December 2026 - Last Day for Term Time Paid Children.
23rd December 2026 - Last Day for All-Year Round Children.
4th January 2027 - All Children Resume.
